All the chairs listed in my project will be used to help first graders get the wiggles out while they are learning. The Balance Ball Seats and Flex-Space Comfy Floor chairs will be used at their desks for daily activities as well as in our learning area on the rug. Instead of moving and rolling around on the floor, they can bounce and wiggle and stay in one place. Wiggling during learning will help stretch my first grader's attention spans and help them focus on the task at hand. A six year old can only focus for about 5-7 minutes at a time, which impacts their ability to take in information and retain it. With these wiggle seats, first graders will be able to wiggle, while staying engaged in their learning.
