Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
I teach gifted students. They are very motivated to learn. They love technology but our access is limited to once a week. Gifted students learn at all different levels and in order to keep their motivation to learn, they require being challenged.
My students thrive on challenges.
However, since exposure to technology is not always readily available at home, they look forward to learning more technology at school. They are great communicators and so enthusiastic to learn new things. They love to incorporate technology and forward their leaning to others.

However, since exposure to technology is not always readily available at home, they look forward to learning more technology at school. They are great communicators and so enthusiastic to learn new things. They love to incorporate technology and forward their leaning to others.
Having tablets in the classroom will facilitate more the use of Apps outside the classroom. My students love observing technology and in today’s world, they need to be technology literate. They will be able to go outside and use Apps like iNaturalist to identify plants and animals. Having tablets gives them access to innumerable apps for research and applications. There are many different research opportunities that are available and having tablets will increase the possibilities of all my students having access to technology. I want to be able to prepare them to be productive in today’s society and give them the best opportunities available to them into a tech savvy future workforce.
