This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

These items will help me create a fun environment for my students to play and challenge their minds. Playing games can give students more opportunities to practice and increase their reading, math, and reasoning skills.

More than skills, playing board and tabletop games creates a community and builds friendships over common interests.

With community comes teamwork and collaboration in cooperative games increasing communication and working through challenges in a logical way.

In a club like this students can be themselves, sharing their knowledge and experience to come together over some dice, cards, and meeples.
