it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
A classroom set of Tabletop Easels will provide an elevated learning experience for Visual Art students at KO Knudson Academy of the Arts. Traditional art training is most often done on an easel, not a flat table, as it provides a more natural way to view the paper or canvas when drawing, helping students acquire hand/eye coordination more efficiently. Our program seeks to provide a high level of art education that propels our middle school magnet students on to the high school arts magnet programs with all of the skills necessary to continue on their artistic path. These easels will be used for drawing and acrylic painting projects year round in conjunction with drawing boards we already use.
