My Students

Were you ever the student who could not understand what the teacher was explaining? Were you the student who was afraid to be called on?

These are my students.

They have severe learning disabilities who are expected to be successful in a general education setting. When a student reads and writes 4 to 5 grade levels below his or her peers, how else can they be successful? One great solution would be technology.

My Project

With a tablet, these students can have the opportunity to be educated with their peers. These student will have the ability to take notes, organized themselves to take test, access multiple modes of learning, and participate as active learner in a school setting environment.

If this project is funded, this will allow my Special Needs students to have access to curriculum and be confident in being a part of the classroom experience.
