Tables to Take on Tier 2!

Help me give my students a table for working in tier 2 groups. My school is a small charter school and good furniture for group work is hard to fund.

My Students

My class is a part of a charter school that teaches core knowledge curriculum. They are hungry to learn and eager for more. They love working on getting better at challenging things, and continually amaze me.

My students come from a variety of backgrounds.

Part of what I love about my students and my school is how they care about one another. They celebrate each other's successes and rally behind someone when they are down.

My Project

If my project is funded, I will use the kidney table for my tier groups which currently meet on the ground. As our school has a huge focus on tier time, every student is placed into a group. We meet daily to try and improve on goals in reading and math. Students' comfort on the ground is noticed, but cannot be helped due to lack of furniture. Having a kidney table will help solve this problem for us. I am requesting new Science books to help build a better library for my classroom with the new Science standards addressed specifically. I have also requested money from Teachers Pay Teachers to find social emotional curriculum to use during my character lessons. Our charter has is teach character especially to students twice a week. Teachers Pay Teachers has some great material to help students cope with their new normal post the COVID shut down.

A kidney table and Science books are going to make my students learning opportunities flourish!
