The current tables in my classroom are round, too big, and only work if my class sizes are below 30 students. Next year our classes are going up and fitting 35 8th graders in my room is going to be a big challenge. Having students facing the back of the room is also less than ideal, but unavoidable with round tables.
These 4 feet by 3 feet rectangular tables are more compact and utilize workspace more effectively.
With them, the space won't feel so cramped and my students will have the workspace they need to be productive and comfortable while learning their math.
