Tables for Kindergarteners

My students need three tables not 5th grade desks that they barely fit sitting on. I have been trying to get these tables for my kindergartners for a long time. They would benefit greatly.

My Students

My students walk into our classroom every day full of life, ready to learn, and excited for what the day will bring. . I always ask them, "Who is the best kindergarten class?" and they reply, "We are!" They are eager to learn and loving students.

We start the day with a class handshake so everyone feels welcome.

We also have a morning song. I have various students, including English Language Learners from various countries, as well as students with special needs. I love exposing them to different types of learning.

My school is a title 1 school and I try to give the students everything they need in order to succeed in 1st grade. I love teaching Kindergarten because of the growth they show. It is unfortunate they do not have age appropriate tables to sit at.

My Project

My students currently sit at upper grade desks. They are all uneven and the students barely fit. I have been trying to get these tables since last year.

I love teaching this grade and I want my students to be able to interact with each other comfortably.

The desks as you can see in the picture are not kindergarten friendly.

My goal is for them to move to first grade with amazing socialization skills. The desks are too difficult for the students to interact properly. These tables are much more age appropriate and comfortable for 5 year olds. Thank you so much.
