Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I have 30 amazing resource students who show up to my class eager to learn. They are adventurous, adaptable, and the best of all, kind and considerate. My students would benefit greatly from flexible seating. With square tables, students can collaborate, work on projects, and lesson together, and interact with each other for social and emotional support. Special education students come to resource and work in small group instruction. By utilizing square tables, students can work together to build concepts and skills and explore with manipulatives or concrete objects they use to understand math and literacy. The resource students can interact and participate in activities in activities cohesively while sitting at square tables. Having square tables ensures that students can work together and participate in small-group instruction for literacy and math.
