Tables for 21st Century Learners

My Students

My students are 2nd graders at a school with a 100-year history in our community. We have a tight-knit school and community. Our school is a Global School, which means that our students learn about the world around them and how to be good global citizens.

My students come to school each day eager and willing to learn about the world around them.

I work tirelessly to create an environment where every learner is able to succeed!

My Project

My students are engaged in many collaborative learning experiences in my classroom. Having tables in the room would improve the collaborative nature that is so important to encourage in young learners. Currently, we have mismatched desks that do not fit together nicely to make tables so students are continuously losing important learning tools through the cracks between their desks. This takes away valuable learning time when we are having to stop to find things we have dropped on the floor.

My students will be so happy and productive with the three tables I am requesting in our classroom!

We will be able to work with partners and in groups with no problem! Thank you for helping my 21st century learners and collaborators!
