My Project

My students currently are using individual desks and would like to have the opportunity to have tables and individual chairs to complete their work on. This would allow them to collaborate with each other whether it be the group or in pairs.

I love using tables in my math classroom to help promote teamwork and collaboration.

When the students are together at the same table it allows them easier access to each other, whereas individual desks in rows is not as conducive to group or partner work. With your help, we can assist my students in developing those essential team building and collaboration skills all while solving mathematical problems.

My 7th grade students are smart and energetic! Most of the students have known each other since they were in pre-k as we are in a small rural community out in the country. My students are wonderful kids who for the most part are eager to learn. They love to work together on math activities!
