Tables and Stools for Small Group Learning!

Help me give my students tables for small group work where they can write and share ideas and learning right on the surface of the table. And stools to offer alternative seating for stand up desks!

My Students

My classroom is filled with hardworking students, creative thinkers, and interested learners. The students in my class work hard every day and collaborate to share knowledge.

My class is very interactive and hands-on.

We like to move from one activity to the next. We build, explore, create and learn all day, every day. To maximize this type of learning,

organization, readily accessible materials, and flexible seating, and tables we can have room to work at are key to success.

Organized materials in the classroom help my second graders in a variety of ways. As a teacher, I am able to individualize my instruction to meet the needs of the highest to lowest learner by allowing students to access the materials they need at any given time. The students are able to build, create, and learn easily and efficiently in a well stocked and organized classroom.

My Project

These tables will enable my students to spread out in the classroom and work in small groups. The surface of the table allows for students to write on and share their ideas and designs with others quickly while conserving paper and other materials. The stools give options at stand up desks and counters to sit and work for longer periods. I am so excited for these items to complete the look of my classroom and provide an optimal working space for my students. Round tables will help keep the table groups small and help allow all students to have voice and feel comfortable in our space.
