My Project

Please help me create an awesome art space for my high school students. Our art program is only two years old. We are the alternative school for our county, and my classroom is our old cafeteria. I am so lucky to have a large room with lots of windows and two sinks, but there are so many things that my students deserve as well. I am starting from scratch to build our supplies and make our space a creative and warm environment. The existing tables are from our school library and used to be the desktop computer tables. They are low to the ground and too small for most of our students. They do not provide a suitable surface for creating art, and tables where they can sit or stand, with large surfaces, will only enhance their creativity and confidence. My students deserve to have the same space as the other high schools in the county, and walking into a room that is an actual art studio will only help their creativity and pride in our school. My students work so hard and they deserve an amazing space to create! Your support can make a difference!
