My Students
My Pre-Kindergarten class is composed of mixed backgrounds such as Polish, Caucasian and Hispanic students that are eager to learn. They just need the materials to help them explore and learn. They all have hard working parents that just want an enriched Pre-Kindergarten experience for their children. The students are well behaved, attentive and eager to learn. They are an inquisitive bunch. They are capable of so much! They absorb information like a sponge. I just need the materials to support their learning experience.
My Project
My students need more math games to motivate them during centers. The adding games including Pop & Add games will challenge both my intermediate and my top students. Number reinforcement will be lots of fun with number locks and peg boards. Play dough mats will also be a fun choice for making groups.
My students also love to connect and build with manipulatives.
The magnetic manipulatives, architectural shapes and chain connectors will give my students a hand on approach to learning through a fun and interactive process. The large floor puzzles will also keep students engaged and focused while learning to problem solve.
