My Project

Flexible seating allows students to get comfortable and cozy as they take action in learning. It will allow my students to make choices that work best for their learning experiences. This is a great way to keep them engaged while I am teaching and when they are completing independent or group work. It makes things so much more exciting!

Making sure students are comfortable is an essential component in motivating them.

I have noticed amazing differences in my students when they are given a choice in their seating. They almost always make good choices about where they sit, are more engaged, and get more work completed than when they are just sitting at their desk.

A floor table can be particularly useful in a classroom setting for several reasons:

Promotes Collaboration: Floor tables encourage students to work together in a more relaxed and informal setting, fostering collaboration among peers. Students can gather around the table, sit comfortably on the floor, and engage in group discussions and activities.

Flexibility in Seating Arrangements: Floor tables allow for flexible seating arrangements, accommodating different group sizes and configurations. This flexibility promotes inclusivity and allows students to choose seating arrangements that best suit their preferences and learning styles.

Facilitates Interactive Learning: By providing a communal workspace at ground level, a floor table encourages hands-on interactive learning experiences. Students can easily share materials, manipulate objects, and engage in group projects, enhancing their understanding of the skills we are learning.
