My Project
After the pandemic, we needed a place to meet and converse in small groups. This table will help enhance the education of thousands of students. Many children have been struggling socially, emotionally, and academically since returning to school. Meeting students in small groups provides them with the 1-1 attention they need to be successful in the classroom. I also teach in the city, where many children live in homes that do not prioritize eating together at the kitchen table.
This gathering space will help enhance peer relationships and teacher led discussion.
This will serve many purposes for for years to come.
