My Students

My fourth-grade classroom is a community of students with unique special education and English language learning needs. Throughout the year they collaborate with educators and each other to grow and develop.

My students learn to build upon their differences so each student can develop to their personal best.

We are a small neighborhood K-6 school that welcomes newly arrived students from around the world. These are children who are still learning their own language and now must work to learn English as well.

My Project

My students often work with a partner and this small table will give them the space to do that. The narrow design will conserve valuable classroom space, yet let students work closely together.

A “table for two” is perfect for students to put their heads together and collaborate without distracting other students with loud voices across large tables.

It is slim and adjustable so my students with limited mobility can also partner up! That will bring a smile to their faces.

Kids love small private spots and I know this table will quickly become the most popular place to work!
