My Project

This year, I took a new position teaching first grade at my own childhood elementary school. This has been an amazing experience for me and for my students. My first graders are kind, curious, bright, and imaginative. We are quickly approaching the end of the school year, and my kids have grown so much in the last few months!

Part of our end-of-the-year celebration is ABC Countdown.

Each day leading up to the end of the year, we celebrate by doing an activity related to the letter of the day. T is for tie-dye! This project provides white t-shirts, rubber bands, plastic gloves and table cloths so that the students can make personalized tie-dye shirts. They will also be able to wear these to field day.
