Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

I am a Social Studies teacher at a small rural high school. I teach World History & US History to 9th - 11th graders. We use interactive notebooks for all of my classes, no textbooks. Every student needs to have a large (9x11) spiral notebook that all assignments are placed in. We use this notebook for all course materials. In class, we use a lot of glue sticks and staplers/staples to secure everything into our notebooks and copy paper is necessary for me to provide the materials for our class.

The items I am requesting will allow me to provide students with a good quality notebook that each student will be able to use for their assignments.

Overall, these items will provide me with all the necessary resources for me to effectively teach my subjects and provide high engagement materials to my students. Interactive notes are an excellent resource to use in classrooms to increase student engagement and help students to learn organizational skills. Please consider helping us!
