Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students are K-5th grade students! They are both general education and special education students and they are made up of English Language Learners and students whose first language is English. We are a very diverse community.
My students have me for a 45-minute Computer Science and/ or Character Ed class at least once per week.
My students are eager to learn and are making progress each week.
The students are highly motivated by hands-on activities and project-based learning.
My Project
This will be an awesome PBIS reward for the students in my school.
Students will be on the best behavior during the day so they can come to the computer lab during their lunch period and play their favorite Nintendo Switch games.
I have also put headphones for the computer lab as we do not currently have them in the Computer Lab.
I have also put in masks for the students so they can be safe while socially distancing.
They will be extra motivated to be super great during the day so they can have a fun time at lunch.
