My Project

My students have severe and multiple disabilities, accessing "traditional" toys and art supplies is extremely difficult for them. Most of my students rely on adult support to use materials and play. This can be frustrating, all kids deserve to have independent access to their environment. There are some amazing adapted tools that will give my students independent access to toys and art. I am requesting 2 spin arts, so I can have two small groups using this during art time. Students will be able to use their communication tools to request colors, communicate to make the toy stop/go and comment on the activity.
