My Students

Although our school is in a rural community, we have a diverse population of students. Many of our students are fairly new to our country and are just learning to speak English. Some of our students live in poverty while others come from wealthier homes. The neat thing is that our student body does a great job of accepting all students not matter their demographics or socioeconomic status.

In my opinioin, the student-athletes out for boys basketball are well round individuals.

In our program we have a saying "Excellence in All We Do". We strive to do our best in the classroom, in our community, and on the court. We've placed in the top three in our conference for sportsmanship for the last 10 years.

My Project

We have student-athletes that love to be in the gym not only to improve their individual skills but also they understand the importance of doing things together as a team, building team chemistry.

We're in need of basketballs to help our student-athletes improve their skills throughout the season as well as in the off-season.

The basketballs will be used year-round and will not only help players this year but for many seasons to come.

We currently don't have enough basketballs for each player. With additional basketballs, it will give our players more opportunities to help to improve their skills development.
