My Project
I teach health and physical education in a small rural high school in central Pennsylvania. My students are caring, enthusiastic, and motivated to learn. They come to school every day with smiles on their faces eager to conquer new challenges. They love working hard every day in physical education class to better their physical fitness levels. Some students stay after school and exercise in the weight room enhancing their personal fitness while setting and achieving new fitness goals. They thrive in collaborating together with their classmates and they enjoy watching how different fitness styles can come together to reach an overall goal. They very rarely complain and the majority of them operate on helping others. They volunteer their time to many school clubs, sporting teams, and extra-curricular organizations. They are all about lending a helping hand to help other students, their school, and their community.
We are in search of some new rubber softballs and new birdies so our students can participate in two outdoor activities that we will be conducting in the spring.
The rubber softballs are great for all skill levels and they are easier for a student to hit than a baseball. The birdies are needed to play badminton outside which is another activity that students love. They get to play in teams and work on their hand-eye coordination skills.
