Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My baseball players need to be supported by individuals who love helping children. My students need proper equipment to reach their full potential on the sports fields and that will lead them to self-confidence in the classrooms. My team had a great season making the playoffs for the first time in four years. To take my team to the next level it is essential that we get a pitching machine to reach even greater success. The 2018 season we doubled our 2017 run total by almost 50 percent thanks to previous projects.
The students represent a broad spectrum of cultural and economic backgrounds.
Due to varied circumstances, they often lack equipment.
With a little help, my students can achieve greatness they just need a little help to get there! Please consider paying it forward and help my students reach their full potential!
My Project
The most important aspect of on-field batting is that the batter is given a high percentage of ‘good pitches' to hit. The Pitching Machine will be used in batting practice or during training for both indoor and outdoor baseball practices. Defensive Drills: fly balls, pop-ups, line drives, ground balls, catcher pop-ups, catcher blocking drills that are essential for success. The extension cords will allow us to power up the machine.
This season my team made the playoffs for the first time in four years.
We had a 6-5-1 regular season record and look for greater success in 2019. Thank you for your help!!!!
