This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students need some basic softball equipment to practice and better their skills. For years, we have been working to build our softball program into something special, and we are so close! With your help, we can continue gathering high-quality balls, batting nets, and other important training aids for our girls. We have some incredible talent making its way into the school, and I would hate to be unable to provide them with the resources they need to succeed. The budget for sports is very minimal in our town, and the equipment doesn't get updated very often. In our state they don't allow to coach out of season, so during the season is where the students get the opportunity to grow. Since we have outdated equipment, the athletes do their best with what they have. It would be great to be able to provide them with the new equipment needed to be more successful.
