Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The students at our school take swimming class as part of the physical education curriculum. Many of these students are learning how to swim for the first time. They are very motivated to learn to swim. The students are learning pool safety, water aerobics, water polo, kayaking, diving from a diving board, pre-lifeguarding instruction and lifeguarding. However, some students do not have all the supplies for class instruction. Towels for after class are in great need. Having Towels available for the students to use after class will provide them the comfort of being able to dry off before class.
