My Project

I have taught kindergarten, first grade and second grade over the last 22 year. This year I took on a new adventure teaching first grade at my former elementary school.

One thing that never changes is that students love earning a reward!

This project is for treats for students to earn as part of their positive behavior supports. Several of my students are on personalized behavior charts and token boards. We also have a classroom economy where students learn financial literacy through the earning and spending of classroom store items. If they achieve their goal, they earn dollars and can buy a reward. These items would be used to reward students for their hard work progressing toward their behavior goals. A lollipop can always encourage a student to do their best!
