Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My high school students are diving into real-world statistics through a fun and engaging end-of-year project. To make abstract concepts come alive, they'll be using M&M's and Skittles to explore probability, sampling, distributions, and hypothesis testing.
These colorful candies provide the perfect hands-on tools for students to collect data, run experiments, and analyze results.
They're not just treats—they're teaching tools!
Many of my students only come to campus 1–2 times per week, so I want to make every in-person experience meaningful. With your help, we can give them a memorable, interactive project that reinforces what they've learned all year—and ends the school year on a sweet note.
What We Need:
Packs of M&M's and Skittles (individual and fun-size)
