My Project

Help me prepare for the new school year by providing My students with snacks. My students have a very late lunch at 1:30 pm, so we have snack time daily. Many of the children do not bring snacks and they are very hungry. The majority of my students come from low-income households. Many of them can't afford to bring extra food to school.

Good nutrition helps students show up at school prepared to learn.

Students are likely to have fewer absences and attend class more frequently. Studies show that malnutrition leads to behavior problems.

Please help give my students the opportunity to be full, happy, and ready to learn with snacks such as applesauce and Skinny Pop! These snacks will give them the energy they need to focus as they learn. They will keep them full and energized so they can continue to participate during class.
