Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are hard-working, well-behaved 4th grade dual language sutdents, who will surely work hard throughout the new school year. They are very impressionable and this is the best time to mold them into the successful scholars of the future.

Math is important of course, but I predominantly try to teach them about manners, hard work, organization, dedication, that you can learn from your mistakes, to help each other, that they are WORTH IT, and ultimately that they can do anything they put their mind and effort into.

This past year, nearly every single one of my students passed Math on their own and most of them performed better than they ever had before because of these lessons that they have learned. They are setting goals they never believed they could achieve and surpassing them with flying colors.

These snacks will serve as rewards to encourage them to continue working hard throughout the upcoming school year in order to ensure ultimate success and achievement.
