This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are amazing! But they are struggling during a pandemic and are having difficulty coping. They want to work hard and strive to succeed and participate every day! I have been attempting to provide them with "luxuries" which most people take for granted. These snacks can give them a boost at home as well as in the classroom by building confidence and self-worth.
I am requesting a variety of candy and snacks for our wonderful, respectful, hard-working scholars to satisfy their desire for something sweet while at home and in the classroom.
Students can choose candy or a snack as a prize on days when they are trying their hardest. That keeps them motivated and happy coming to school each day!
It changes their entire mood to earn a prize for their hard work! We are a STEM school and also earn prizes in order to complete our assignments that deal with science, technology, engineering, and mathematics!
