Help me give my students motivational and fun tools such as chalk, card stock, window art, and glue. My students will also work hard for Fidget pops, and use conversation hearts for games.
My class is full of students who are excited to be at school each day to see what we will learn. Our favorite time is pulling out a keyboard and singing songs together that help us to learn our letter sounds, math facts, and about the world around us.
All of the students in our school qualify for free or reduced-price lunch.
The diversity that exists in our school comes from the reservation which borders our district and the Hispanic population that helps our farming community.
My Project
One of the most fun and rewarding parts of teaching is finding new and fun ways to motivate students to work hard. By using rewards such as Fidget pops and crafting with window art, glue, and card stock, my class will have fun learning and be willing to work hard to earn rewards and free time.
First graders love to learn, especially when they know a reward is coming!
Just as adults work to earn a paycheck, students will work to earn game time with conversation hearts, and the other rewards included in this project. Who ever said education is boring has never been in a first grade classroom. We play just as hard as we work. These prizes will be a great motivational tool in our classroom.
