Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

We use a ticket system in my classroom. Any time a student is exhibiting desired behavior, they get a ticket. The behaviors can vary from helping a classmate clean up a mess to offering an insightful comment during class discussion. Students eagerly await Fridays when they can "cash in" their tickets for prizes. The items in this project will help jazz up our current ticket store. Most students end up with enough tickets to buy at least one item. However, the full sized candy bars are for the students who exceed expectations regularly and will go for 5 tickets (instead of the usual 1).

I'm excited to offer something special to students who always do what is expected of them.

The items in this project will allow me to do that.
