Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
This small group table will provide a space in the classroom to best facilitate small group learning time. Students currently sit at a table with me but the shape makes it difficult for me to interact with all students. Over half of the students in my first grade classroom read below grade level and require small group intervention daily to help bridge the learning gaps. A U shaped table will provide all students an opportunity to engage and learn during small group time. A donation to this project will not only help the students of this years class but students of many years to come!
