it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
By pursuing a STEM endorsement, I will apply innovative teaching strategies that integrate STEM concepts into my 6th grade curriculum. I plan to utilize hands-on projects like aquaponics and hydroponics to engage students in real-world applications of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. This experiential learning will not only deepen their understanding of environmental sustainability but also enhance critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Students will benefit by actively participating in cross-curricular projects that connect STEM subjects with social studies, ELA, and math.
This approach encourages collaboration, fosters curiosity, and prepares them for future challenges in an increasingly complex world, ultimately cultivating a generation of informed and responsible citizens.
