Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Imagine a classroom where young learners are not only surrounded by captivating books but also learn the importance of environmental responsibility through the very tools that organize their learning space. Our current book storage system is overflowing shelves, flimsy cardboard boxes that tear easily, and has a lack of organization. This makes it challenging for students to independently access and return books, leading to frustration and a less inviting classroomenvironment.
To create a more organized, accessible, and sustainable reading nook, we are seeking your support to acquire a set of durable, plastic book bins.
We are wanting to instill better organization with our scholars with clearly labeled bins where students will be able to easily find the books they want and return them to their proper place.
These Lakeshore bins are the best on the market and ensure durability and longevity; unlike our current ones. We know these sturdy bins will withstand the daily use of enthusiastic young readers for years to come, reducing the need for frequent replacements. Thank you DonorsChoose!
