Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

To remain hydrated and healthy, we need to ensure we are drinking enough water. My students who are constantly dancing are losing hydration because they either have a plastic water bottle that they toss away after it's finished, or don't own a water bottle for our filtered water fountain. The lack of water from students not owning a resuable water bottle can cause health scares like dehydration, dizziness, a pumping heart rate, and more. In order to prevent students from reaching this level of unsafe levels, I am requesting reusable water bottles that students can personalize as a way to ensure that they take advantage of them.

The second item I am requesting is a personalized dance bag that students can carry their water bottles in, along with all of their clothes and necessities.

This project will not only help students be more responsible and healthy, but also teach students to be knowledgable about the environment.
