Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students
My students are Title I students who would love to be able to benefit from resources that they can learn from while being remote. This year is a very challenging year. I would like to create learning care packages that can help students over the holiday breaks. A lot of families are already trying to make ends meet as is. I would like to create holiday care packages that will include books, social-emotional items, and many other resources that they do not have in order for them to learn. I love that my students will benefit from these resources.
My Project
Yes, the students will be able to practice writing skills. Instead of having or using ditto sheets, the students can have materials that they can feel through their fingertips. Practice makes perfect. The more resources the students have at home will be more beneficial.
Parents will be able to see their children's faces light up because of the new resources they get to use at home.
Students will always have the opportunity to use their materials at home.
These resources will be a great help especially when it is my time to teach them virtually. It will be a good idea for them to refer to their own resources because everyone will be equipped with their "very own."
It would be easier to tell the students to get their pencils to write a letter along with me. If they draw a picture it would be better to use vibrant colors to draw. They will feel much better doing their homework in their own personal Journal that was supplied to them.
