My students need educational materials, Link-To-Learn Letter Matching Interactive Game, Shapes Discovery Boxes, Hands-On Counting Tray, and Magnetic Shapes Maze such as that meet a multi-sensory approach to learning.
My children do not learn from conventional techniques! They need a multi-sensory approach to learning!
Children with multiple disabilities are like square pegs, and the problem with pounding a square peg into a round hole is not that the hammering is hard work. It's that you're destroying the peg.
I work in a District 75 school in New York City.
All of the students that attend my school have special needs. In my classroom, my students have been diagnosed with Autism, Other Health Impairments, ADHD, learning disabilities, and Intellectual Disabilities. Children will so many different diagnoses need to be taught in different and innovative ways in order to increase their success in learning.
My Project
My students need educational materials, Link-To-Learn Letter Matching Interactive Game, hapes Discovery Boxes, Hands-On Counting Tray, and Magnetic Shapes Maze such as that meet a multi-sensory approach to learning. The materials that I am requesting provide the opportunity for each student to learn show their skills in a non-conventional way. Each child is extremely different in the way they learn and in the way they show their capabilities.
The educational materials that I am requesting provide a different way to teach my students what they need to learn. Learning the ABC's, addition, colors, positional words, and numbers using play dough, puzzles, and interactive software will engage my students and make learning enjoyable.
Students with Autism have a hard enough time learning.
As a teacher, I need to provide fun and innovative ways to get them to learn successfully. Working for the city, funding is minimal and is not nearly enough in order to provide my students with a great education that they deserve. I need your help and I thank you in advance for donating to my classroom.
