Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

We will be able to have an open and calming discussion space to discuss the ways we can make changes for better surroundings! Eventually, the ultimate goal is to have a group of students continue to expand on our schools' Green Initiative. We have already established a recycling program among other successful projects. I want to continue to grow our programs with our students for our school and into the community. I believe that providing a safe and calm space for our students to learn will make them as successful as possible! All of the fidget resources will help students focus on our discussions. The books are going to be provided to students to read prior to group discussions to get a jumpstart on our activism!
