it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are creative, curious, and enthusiastic learners who embrace every opportunity to explore and express themselves through art. From Pre-K to 5th grade, they use their energy and imagination to build new skills and expand their understanding of artistic concepts. These resources will support key learning objectives by providing tools for hands-on exploration and skill development.
Felt will enable students to study texture and create layered, vibrant collages.
Watercolor paper will help them practice painting techniques, including color blending and brush control. Black and white construction paper will encourage them to develop contrast and composition skills. Glue sticks will support their ability to assemble mixed-media projects, while paint sticks offer a mess-free way to explore bold, expressive mark-making. A drying rack will protect their artwork during the drying process, teaching patience and care for materials, and a paper cutter will allow me to efficiently prepare materials to suit their creative needs.
These materials will empower my students to think critically, explore various artistic techniques, and confidently express their unique ideas in a supportive and inspiring environment.
