My students need 2 new gliders for our classroom. Our teen parents attend school on campus and frequently come over to nurse their little ones. Our current gliders have broken after 20+ years of use.

My Students

Our classroom supports 10 energetic little ones, ages 2 weeks-18 months AND their Mamas that attend our high school. We believe in learning through play, creating a strong partnership with parents and a safe and nurturing environment for all of our students to explore and discover.

Our program empowers and educates teen parents.

By having a high-quality program, role modeling developmentally appropriate practices and providing them with ongoing resources and education, we can change the lives of two generations at once.

My Project

Our classroom is in need of some new gliders that are used all day, every day by our parents and teachers with our little ones.

Supporting our teen Mamas in their breastfeeding journey is important to our program.

We want to ensure that Mama and baby get to bond throughout the school day and have a safe and comfortable place to do so. These gliders will allow for them to feed in our classroom, on campus in the early learning center.

For many of our teen parent population, coming to school is their safe place and provides a sense of stability. Please help us continue to help them in this learning environment.
