My Project
I am a special education teacher who works with first and second-grade students who have special needs. I have a resource room where students come for reading, math, and social skills instruction. My students are diverse in their backgrounds and come with many unique needs.
This project will provide students with basic school supplies when they are in my classroom, and provide sensory support for students when they are in my room and in the general education setting.
It will also provide rewards for meeting behavior expectations and activities for students to use in my classroom when they need to regulate their emotions. Organization options are limited in my classroom so we need new storage options to help keep the room organized and supplies in good working order.
