My Project
Providing wipes for my students with disabilities will have a significant impact on their learning experience and overall well-being. Many of my students require additional support with personal care, and having easy access to wipes will foster greater independence and dignity throughout the school day. By ensuring that my students can manage their personal hygiene comfortably, they will be better able to focus on their academic tasks, engage in classroom activities, and participate more fully in the learning environment. This small but essential resource will make a world of difference, allowing students to feel confident and cared for, which is crucial for their emotional and physical health.
The goal of this project is to provide my students with the tools they need to thrive both inside and outside the classroom.
With wipes readily available, they will have more opportunities to maintain their personal care without relying on constant assistance, thus promoting a sense of independence and self-reliance. My students are incredibly resilient and each brings unique strengths to the classroom, but many face challenges in their daily lives due to their disabilities. These students are not defined by their challenges, but by their determination, creativity, and spirit. By addressing their basic needs like personal hygiene, we can create an environment where they can focus on what matters most—learning and growing.
