My Project
I work with students across the district who are experiencing trauma, grief, or need extra supports with their mental health. I work with students in a way that is more comfortable for them rather than talking to them so that they are able to better focus and work on feeling better so that they are able to be more successful in school. I use a lot of art supplies as well as play based interventions to support working through grief. I have also asked for some books to help both myself and others to work successfully with students experiencing adversity. These supplies will greatly help our students to improve their mental health and school success!
