This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I love how caring, resilient, and hardworking my students are. We serve a diverse population made up of both academy and zoned students, each with unique needs and backgrounds. They come to school every day eager to learn, even when they are dealing with challenges like illness, anxiety, or lack of basic necessities. A well-equipped health office helps remove barriers so students can focus on their education. Supplies such as first aid materials, hygiene products, and basic medical equipment allow me to respond quickly to student needs and keep them comfortable and safe. A bulletin board in the health office would allow me to display important health information, wellness tips, local community resources, and encouraging messages so all students have access to helpful guidance in a visible and welcoming way. Comfort items and clean spaces help students feel calm and supported when they are not feeling their best. These resources directly impact learning by helping students return to class healthier, more confident, and ready to succeed. Your support helps ensure every student receives the care they deserve.
