My Project

As a special education teacher, I am passionate about creating an inclusive and supportive classroom where each student can learn in ways that best suit their unique needs. My students face diverse challenges, and my goal is to provide a safe, nurturing environment that fosters both their academic and social-emotional growth. This project seeks to equip our classroom with essential resources to meet these goals.

Your support will help us bring flexible seating options into our space, allowing students to choose seating that helps them stay comfortable, focused, and engaged in learning.

Additionally, basic supplies will ensure that every student has what they need to fully participate, regardless of their background or ability.

Incorporating games and social-emotional learning (SEL) tools will provide my students with hands-on ways to build vital skills like communication, emotional regulation, and self-awareness. These resources are essential for helping my students manage the unique social and emotional challenges they face, supporting their overall well-being and readiness to learn.

With a Teachers Pay Teachers gift card, I’ll also have access to specialized resources designed to support the academic, social, and emotional growth of students with special needs. This will allow me to bring engaging, differentiated lessons into our classroom that meet each child where they are.
