This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are 7th and 8th grade students with speech and language impairments. They are working hard to keep their spirits and efforts up during this difficult time.
The speech and language impaired students learn best with hands-on and visual materials.
Snap Circuits, planks, games, and white board materials will provide hands-on and visual learning opportunities to expand language skills. The colored paper is a great addition to my Vision Board lesson that helps students create a visual to keep their goals in mind. Students benefit from the positive reinforcement, such as motivational posters, stickers, and mechanical pencils. Thank you for also keeping the students safe with air purifier filters while they work!
