Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Some students need to move their bodies in different ways. Some need support naming emotions. And some need tactile areas to calm and express themselves.
Supporting the unique sensory needs of my neurodiverse students is what this project is all about!
I am passionate about equity and my students getting what they need in order to succeed! Many of my students, especially those with IEPS or 504s need not only differentiated instruction but learning environments. I am constantly trying to create that atmosphere here so that all of my students can thrive!
