In order to support my students in becoming the best academic versions of themselves, it is essential to provide them with the basic resources that promote comfort, health, and well-being in the classroom. My students need access to clean drinking water and basic health supplies like band-aids to ensure that they feel cared for and able to focus on learning without unnecessary distractions. This project will provide them with the resources they need to stay hydrated, healthy, and comfortable, creating a more positive and productive learning environment.
Access to clean drinking water is a fundamental need that greatly affects student performance.
When students are dehydrated, they struggle to concentrate, and their ability to engage in classroom activities decreases. By ensuring that they have easy access to water throughout the day, I aim to improve their focus, energy, and overall participation in lessons. Additionally, having band-aids readily available will help address minor injuries quickly, reducing interruptions to learning when students experience scrapes or cuts. When students feel physically safe and taken care of, they are more likely to engage fully in their academic work.
The goal of this project is to foster an environment where my students can thrive academically, both by meeting their immediate health needs and by showing them that they are valued. By providing the necessary supplies to support their physical well-being, I aim to remove barriers to learning, allowing them to focus on developing their academic skills, growing their confidence, and feeling supported in their school community. Ultimately, this project will create a foundation for long-term academic success, setting my students up to perform at their best.
